      Great culture

      Pros

      Transparency in all company operations brings a great sense of ownership. If you like, you can get yourself involved with additional responsibilities not directly related to your job title and it's highly welcomed. Basically take as much on yourself as you like. The company is growing, the management is listening to your feedback, and it feels like you are part of the growth. Near zero "mgmt apparatus" overhead - the company is very agile. Great team - very nice people to work with, both on technical and inter-person level. Great work/life balance and benefits overall. One of a few consulting companies that gives options to their employees.

      Cons

      There are no cons for me really - the job at DoiT fits very well in what I'd like to do at this stage of my life. However I'll list couple of things to note that may be interesting for others: * You are in charge of your work/life balance - we are a global company with one global (and great!) engineering team, so there is always something interesting going on. You need to learn to pause and switch yourself off * We are a bunch of experienced cloud architects that are hands-on and want to stay hands-on. If your thing is to climb career ladder from team lead to group lead to director, etc., there is a limited space to do so in DoiT * There are no sprint reviews, gantts or PI planning - it's your responsibility to propel yourself forward

      Thank you for your feedback! It's important to keep a healthy work-life balance and to take some time off from time to time, even though we realize it may be hard to do when you love what you do so much :-)

      great place for late in career. not great for early or mid

      balance and understanding of personal needs from co-workers and employer

      Cons

      office is dirty, very little amount of real life connections with co-workers. with so much revenue and investments, little to no perks and the stuff young people look for in a startup

With an average age of just 29 across the company, we believe DoiT International presents a great opportunity for people of all ages. The company has just rolled out a stock option plan in the aggregated value of US$70M to US$130M which is one of the best on the market in our industry. Having said that, we recommend having a conversation with your direct manager or with anyone on the management team about what additional perks you'd like to see in our company.

      Great team, knowledgeable people, engineering culture. Lots of freedom to get job done. Very helpful colleagues.

      Cons

      Scaling globally is challenging some of the existing processes. A more federated approach is on the horizon to address this.
