The downfall is real

Pros

- Remote working - Great colleagues - Reimbursements

Cons

When I first joined DoIT International it felt like a dream workplace. The energy was good, people were genuinely happy, and you could tell there was pride in being part of the company. Everyone was motivated and the culture actually made you want to work hard. It felt like we were building something special. That changed completely around mid to late December 2024 when the value proposition shifted. From that point you could feel the split between staff and leadership grow wider and wider. Leadership pushed their own direction without listening to the people on the ground, and it created a divide that never closed. Morale dropped and the culture that made the company strong just disappeared. What followed has been nothing but decline. Redundancies became the answer to everything. Instead of fixing problems or listening to feedback, they started cutting people left and right. And it wasn’t underperformers being shown the door, it was some of the most talented, driven people in the company. People who gave their all, people who cared, people who actually brought value. Those same people are thriving at other companies now while DoIT is left weaker without them. Inside the business now, the atmosphere is toxic. Staff are unhappy, motivation is gone, and you can feel the frustration in every team. Conversations are filled with negativity because people don’t feel heard or valued anymore. Leadership seem completely blind to it, carrying on as if nothing is wrong while the culture crumbles around them.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Bonusly incentive Remote first Some really bright people

Cons

Know that it is part of the onboarding checklist to leave a Glassdoor review...so basically you are there less than a month and they want you to review bc at that point you're still happy (ie many "great onboarding!" reviews) There was a big layoff in Feb 2025. Some really great people were let go. Some incompetent people were not. This is because all the company cared about was how they looked on paper, instead of actually caring about retaining employees who produced the best results. Regardless of what was communicated, the severance package was not "generous", but basically what is required to make sure there are no lawsuits. Typical 'tech startup' things like poor work-life balance, no great processes in place, and scattered management. Some do have a gravy experience due to having an easy-going manager, while others are working weekends to meet demands.

DoiT Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. DoiT did go through a Re-Org in February 2025 to right size our global team to better align with our new go-to-market and service strategies. As a result of these changes, a number of incredibly talented team members moved on from the company with our full support and generous severance. We care deeply about our current and former team members, and we also have an obligation to ensure we continue to scale the company with intention and strategies designed to ensure our continued growth and success. How we approached those changes - and who specifically was impacted - was governed by best practices and country specific employment laws. And as an aside, we do have an automated reminder for new hires to consider reviewing their interview experience with DoiT in their early days while its fresh in their mind, but this is not at all a requirement or anything managers follow up on as all reviews are anonymous. We're grateful for every Do'er that shares their experience, but there is never any pressure with regard to what is shared about interviews or broader employment at DoiT in general. I gather you were impacted by the changes this year and would welcome the opportunity to talk more if you're open to it? Please reach out at Kristen@DoiT.com so we can talk more. Sinking ship plagued by a toxic blame culture

Pros

Remote work Some colleagues are great

Cons

What began years ago as a promising company has turned into little more than a sinking ship with excuses. Yes, vendor decisions caused damage, but what truly hurt the company was a lack of vision and reckless leadership choices. Acquiring companies as a fallback because customers won’t pay for your product is simply stupid. Let’s be honest, the product isn’t good. And what did management do about it? Nothing, except foster a toxic blame culture and roll out yet another round of redundancies.
