A good company to work at

Pros

I joined DoiT through an acquisition more than a year ago, and I am pleased with the new home we arrived at, since: 1) The management is not afraid of change, even if it's a painful one. Always aiming to find the best strategy and solution to each scenario. 2) Benefits are better than most places, especially if you take into account that this is a remote-only company. 3) The culture is good, supporting growth and internal promotions. Subject matter experts who are making a real impact are celebrated, and weak players are trimmed when needed. Home-work balance is also quite reasonable.

Cons

If you don't enjoy working at a remote company with people spread across multiple locations, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Global company with industry-leading Cloud products and solutions. Exceptionally capable professionals. Purposeful and fulfilling work. Genuine care for each other supports a shared commitment to success. When teams are well aligned, the environment is hard to beat.

Cons

Continuously evolving is necessary, yet demanding. Executive leadership shares a compelling vision, and with it, tough goals and expectations. More a fact of the environment than a con.

Pros

DoiT has been a major cloud reseller and is in an exciting phase of evolving from a services-led model toward a more product-focused company. The direction feels right, and it’s a great environment for people who enjoy learning quickly, adapting, and building new things during a period of change. The senior leadership team is strong, and the company has built a solid remote culture—collaboration across countries and time zones is a normal part of how teams work.

Cons

As with any global, fast-growing organization, communication can sometimes take a few hops to land clearly across regions and teams, especially as priorities move quickly. In that setup, having a strong local manager makes a big difference—someone who can translate context, remove ambiguity, represent the team well, and keep day-to-day work running smoothly. The overall experience can vary depending on how that local leadership operates, because they’re often the bridge between the wider company and what teams actually need on the ground. For teams based in smaller hubs like Singapore, it can take a bit more effort to stay visible across the wider organization, so having consistent ways to share progress and recognize contributions across regions would be helpful. Similarly, health insurance for smaller teams like Singapore could be strengthened over time to better match expectations in the market.
