Pros

Fast paced, the day can go by really fast. Simple once you learn how to make everything and what you are expected to do. Always doing something even if you think everything is done. If you have a good team and manager it can be fun even though you are working your but off. Some regulars are awesome, good tippers. Drink all the coffee you want and donuts.

Cons

Hard work, sometimes when it is really busy and if you are short staffed it can be torturous because all the work still needs to get done regardless if you are the only one there to do it, Caffeine is a drug and we are serving addicts literally. People can get real cranky about their coffee. They will literally wait in line as long as it takes to get their fix. They have no sympathy for you. Managers can be difficult. the worst is when there is a young supervisor with their first taste of power. They sometimes are rude to new employees trying to learn and slack off every chance they can. They are not trained to deal with employees very well and can seriously damage the whole team. New hires have walked out, there is fighting at times. No one cares. Sometimes the work is distributed unfairly due to favoritism etc. All depends on the people you are working with. Lots of young people so their lack of experience can negatively effect the work flow.

Pros

Meeting the team members and community for the past 5 years.

Cons

They offer health insurance to employees who work 40 hours but no one is barely allowed to make 40+ hours when your availability is 11am-CL. 5 years with Dunkin' has been an experience most definitely.
