Worst Place I've Ever Worked

Pros

Free coffee. That's it. I tried to submit this without this sentence but Glassdoor said I had to enter at least 5 words for Pros.

Cons

We are ALWAYS understaffed. Every single day. Almost every day someone gets left at the store by themselves for hours and gets destroyed by many demanding customers. We run out of some product every day; we run out of popular flavors like caramel every week. We've run out of cheese, milk, espresso beans, even trash bags and gloves before. One time I was told to buy trash bags at Kroger and that I would be compensated. I never was. The customers are often rude because they expect things to be served to them very quickly, even though there are often only 1-2 people in the store and are expected to serve everyone with lightning speed. The food is terrible. Whenever we ask our manager why they don't put more people on a shift, they talk about how they have to keep their labor costs down. So basically they save on labor costs by putting their employees through hell by putting so few people on a shift that every employee is constantly running around in a mad panic just to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Every second is spent either taking orders, making orders, or sprinting into the back to refill product. Then, they get angry at us for not cleaning the store well enough. There is not enough time to clean properly because there is so little staff that every employee is constantly occupied during their shift. Everyone is exhausted after every shift, but it's never good enough for Dunkin. They watch us on the cameras and complain about any little thing we do wrong, while never giving us any positive feedback whatsoever. They also pay very little. If you get promoted, you are paid an extra 50 cents an hour but are expected to do so much more and deal with all the complaints of the customers. They also call you on almost every one of your days off asking you to come in because of how short-staffed they are. Someone is always quitting because it's a terrible place to work. They are a faceless, evil corporation. I've worked for many other food service establishments, and this one is BY FAR the worst. Steer clear at all costs.
