Pros

There are a lot of smart people at EY that are committed to helping you succeed. There are also great perks

Cons

The most obvious con would be the lack of work/life balance. EY management preach Work/Life balance, but the concept is rarely put into practice -- especially for lower ranking employees.

Pros

Great PC support, higher salaries and benefits

Cons

Very bad career counseling. You can often tell how a person's career will go based on the first few projects they are given. You can never make a mistake and have people forget about it - it wil stay with you forever.

Pros

Having the "Ernst & Young" name on your resume may increse your earnings potential depending on your career track. Many positions outside of the public accounting industry specifically asks for "Big 4 Experience."

Cons

You will have emotional breakdowns once in a while, and they may have lasting effects on how you view your work experiences in the future. On the other hand, you will have great insight into what really matters to succeed in the business world; and let me tell you, it is not the sugar-coded crap they will throw your way: "People, Quality, Growth"
