Pros

Great benefits on staff purchases of Electrolux products, especially big ticket items for which friends & family qualify. Also company keeps investing into training their staff, especially with external courses.

Cons

Toxic work environment at times. Some of the leaders rule through exacting fear and intimidation. Super political with rampant favoritism where leaders only concern themselves with looking good rather than getting the work done. If you like to keep on preparing ever similar pointless PowerPoints rather than actually working on growing the business, then this is a place for you. Beware of all their diversity messaging, white male European expats living in their own bubble rule here…

Pros

Luckily, I had a fantastic manager. The people that do the work are great. Good people on the right teams, lots of people are dedicate to the work and success of the company.

Cons

Poor decisions at the top level had a huge impact on the company and the culture but were told to "get over it" and move on. Much of your experience hinges on who your manager is - if you have a bad manager, it's really bad experience. Missing culture other than being online early and working late. Everyone slipped back into pre-pandemic mindset as soon as office was mandatory again which included 7 and 8am calls and little flexibility for parents who may not be able to meet those demands. Bad tracking got a little out of hand with very little transparency on why people were being let go. 60/40 policy was not strategic or productive. Wish there had been more thought around utilizing time in office for collaboration but typically meant people dialed into Teams calls from their desk. Need a better/more modern approach to promotions and growth. Newer generations of workers aren't interested in lateral moves for the sake of "learning the business" and would rather specialize in the topic/career path they're interested in.
