A big name under a weak management

Business Outlook

Pros

All kinds of products and services

Cons

Politics, micromanagement, data-driven (they don't really understand the customer, only play the models). Top management esp. C-levels are not capable at all. Situation became significantly worse since 2012.

Overall good

Pros

Great work life balance. Excellent offices, technology, resources. Management is pretty approachable and the top execs don't like to hire jerks, from what I've seen.

Cons

The industry is shrinking so compensation is conservative and top-heavy. There is no entry-level program so when a senior position opens up, it is usually filled by a new employee. Basically, there are few opportunities to advance within the company and there is a corresponding high turnover for talented young employees.
