Pros
People at BCG are smart and down to earth, and this makes it very easy to spend long hours with your team. The learning curve is fast, I probably learned more during my first project at BCG than during a year at B-School. Finally BCG actually tries to make worklife balance a component of the consultant experience. Flexible for mobility.
Cons
I think the biggest downside is the amount of hours worked, however this is an issue at any consulting firm, and BCG at least makes an attempt to create better work/life balance.
