Pros
Great co-workers and a lot of down time to catch up on the news. Also when it is slow I have time to apply for a new job and conduct phone interviews.
Cons
Most of the time working alone and managers get all the credit for everything. Pay could be a lot better as well. I have been working here for 3 years and new hires in the same position as I get paid more than me and I have a Bachelors Degree in Business. I applied for a District Manager in Training position and I met all the qualifications in the job description but was told I have to become a manager, and training manger first. The person who ended up getting the position never worked in the storage industry before getting hired. How do they expect us to stay motivated and try to get promoted when it would take another 5 years to move up with crappy pay. You are required to do Sales, Collections, Maintenance, and clean units while trying to reach some of the ridiculous goals the company wants to you hit. They also expect employees to get Google reviews from every customer that comes into the office. If you do not reach your Google Review goal you receive and nasty-gram email from your DM. Also having split days off lowers the moral of your employees.
