You can work on some fantastic publishing brands, training and ability to up-skill in different areas is present, bonus scheme is good providing you bring in 7x your annual salary (minimum per year). Cycle to work scheme. A few really nice & genuine people work there.
Cons
Most upper management are robotic, cowardly, ignorant and do not listen to staff who have far more experience in the actual day to day running of the business. I was told repeatedly in 121 meetings that if my sales figures did not improve I would likely be sacked (despite a challenging period for everyone). Fear is imposed from upper-management which results in middle management micro-managing and un-trusting staff. Forced to return to the office on rigid days even when it wasn't necessary. No culture, no personality and poor relationship with ad agencies.
