Pros
Compensate for overtime (as regulated by the government). Most of the employees are nice and friendly. Acceptable work/life balance (only when your projects are far away from the deadline).
Cons
Salaries are nowhere satisfactory, mediocre among companies in Taiwan. Managers and their managers get in your way all the time. Promote seniority and obedience over talent and contribution. Vast majority of the projects you work on will be copycats. Most of the managers prefer old, sub-optimal (often stupid) practices of project management and the workers often prefer obsolete technologies.
