Pros
Director-level leadership, and down, is generally competent and working towards the success of the company. Additionally, the benefit of free healthcare is outstanding!
Cons
The company is unstable, and laid off 25% of it's US workforce based on sales in China on August 23, 2019. For the layoffs, the owners fled to their multi-million dollar California third-home, and requested a police presence to escort employees from the building who were released. Additionally, no severance was paid to these employees. Ultimately, the owners of the company live on greed, and it is the downfall of the company. C-Level own the HQ building , but make Jeunesse (the company) pay them to lease it. Additionally, they repeatedly say JNS has no bonus culture, even though directors and above are paid an annual bonus. Also, the HR department will report any confidential information regarding employees that may relate to management. This leads to a very unsafe work environment. Finally, the company needs to eliminate their "unlimited PTO" policy, as taking more than a set number of days that is not relayed to staff will result in disciplinary action from HR.
