Pros

Fair compensation, diversity of job disciplines within the framework of the larger company. Company products and mission are good. Many dedicated, remarkable, bright employees among larger workforce.

Cons

Best and brightest are not in leadership positions. Entire health care company is far too Andover-centric and short-sighted in practice. Far too much internal backslapping and value is placed on perceived persons of power in Andover office, to the detriment of the wellbeing of the rest of the company. Their self-love impacts efficient business practices, company morale, while they play musical chairs among themselves, offering raises and bonuses for cronyism. The real performers are shut out. Management has proven to be horridly egotistical, ignorant of basic organizational dynamic principles that would actually improve the effectiveness of the entire workforce. Far too many "leaders" feel entitled to weigh in on business areas they know little of, and create chaos and bruised morale. The tension in the Andover office is palpable on a daily basis. A real drain on employee satisfaction.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
