Pros
Obviously the discount is great, you have a lot of repeat customers so you're able to learn about them and get a stronger connection, you get to see clothes before they're put on the floor and can sometimes hold them for purchase which I think is fun. You become close with the people you work with, I literally met my best friend working at TJ
Cons
I think some downsides are that its mostly females working at TJ and sadly with that comes a lot of petty and catty behavior, in my personal experience. I also personally was not a fan of offering the credit card to every customer, I would have regulars who didn't want to get the card and management would still make me give them the whole speech and I could tell it annoyed the customer.
