Pros

Some managers and some projects are good. If you work in non practice it might be good. If you work for any practice then work life balance won't be there. Especially Java practice is not a good place to work with.

Cons

Everything. I will list one by one. 1.First of all, before joining the company HR will tell one thing in interview and the reality is different when you go in to project. 2.They are putting new hires in bench for long time - 2 months and conducting some internal fake interviews. Without informing you other teams will reserve you in the system for 4 days and the company has no control over it and block you from attending other interviews. 3.Some accounts put you in non billable allocation for 2 months and block you from taking other opportunities. 4. Dont join as B3 Band and above and particularly dont join Java practice. 5.In Java practice they will put you in interview panel even if you are new joinee and if you are in bench and they wont let you to prepare for internal interviews. Existing employees wont accept the interview panel because there is no hike for past 2 years and no amount will be paid for taking interviews and not even single recognition. They are now pushing everyone to take interviews and asking to take interviews on weekends also. Even if you are deployed to project the practice managers will ask to take interviews in project hours. I was not able to concentrate on my project deliverables. Thats why I left this company. So think thousand times before joining this company now. What is the use of Berribot then? No work life balance. Both Practice managers and HR are not following company rules for new joinee. Before completing ICP they directly use employee as panel. New joinees cannot interview external resources for 6 months as per company policy. 6. Question to HR - Are you handling resources as you like? Dont you have any work ethics? Why you are threating employees to be in panel. In timesheet it is mentioned total working hous in a week must not exceed 48 hours, but you are overutilizing employees without any payment. 7. Cafeteria Food is very worst in Wipro. Worst than road side food. No control over food vendors and some cashiers attitude is rude. Ask vendors to wear id cards. Some of their behavior is unprofessional. Before torturing employees first fix food and the environment. 8. Office maintenance is very low. They wont clean the work places regularly.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
