      They have good pay here The culinary team rocks

      If there was ever a company with bureaucratic red tape and technical debt this is the one. I spend very little time coding and most of my time in meetings, making/reviewing designs and trying to make my way through the extremely complex system in place. Additionally, they won't let you work remotely. All employees must live in the Madison area. This is becoming an industry standard and the company is bleeding talent due to other companies being willing to offer remote work. It's hard to empathize with management's iron fist on this policy.

      Pros

      The food is good, facilities are well-kept, and the rural location is nice.

      Cons

      QA division is both expected to defend product quality and told to let broken code out the door that isn't ready so we don't miss a timeline. Then, when customers find issues, you get the blame. It gets more unpleasant by the month, and the money isn't worth it.
