      Educational environment, great classes with provide you with information about anatomy and kineseology

      Management was just terrible - literally the worst work experience of my life.

      Challenging, mind numbing hours in the beginning, but the rewards can be great!

      Pros

      Great facilities to workout in. Discounts on everything: shop, spa, training, pilates. One discounted membership for a friend or family member. Rigorous standards for it's trainers. You get out what you put in, and to those expecting to walk in the door and make 6 figures don't realize that that isn't how it works in ANY industry. You can get there, you just have to put in the work.

      Cons

      You can spend 6am to 9pm at the gym sometimes. The Creative Juice bar is too expensive (but you do still get a discount).

      Pros

      Free membership to the gym. Access to the rapidly growing fitness industry. Interesting and dynamic colleagues.

      Cons

      Zero work life balance. 7 days a week, 10-12 hour days is normal. Equinox works its employees until they burn out and leave. My entire department turned over within the course of a year. Very little support/guidance/recognition from management. The culture is very aggressive and punishing, with employees and supervisors all pointing fingers and laying blame when things don't go as planned, and no recognition for hard work when things go well.
