      Great Environment, disorganized new hire process

      Pros

      Awesome, posh work environment. Lots of education provided to maintain a high level of knowledge. Great training philosophy.

      Cons

      Getting set up in the system as a new hire was a bit uncoordinated. It took them a long time to process my paper work and get set up in the time clock, which significantly delayed my pay. Corporate also mis-entered my SS# in the system which made my background check take forever, further hindering my hiring process.

      This is a place where someone with a passion for health and wellness, and a true commitment to helping others can thrive. In 6+ years with Equinox, I have received priceless guidance and support, while increasing my income by 10-20% every year I've been employed here.

      Cons

      This is not a company for people seeking guaranteed income and easy work schedule. My weekly hours range from 45-60 hours. I start as early as 5:30am and have stayed as late as 9pm. If being in a Health Club environment and catering to the needs of others is not your thing, this is not the right place for you.
