Cons

Management is inexperienced and childish. The education they provide is not everything they say it is it is poor. The turnover at the front desk and maintenance is due to terrible pay! If management does not will not communicate with staff the members suffer. If a "trainer" has injured themselves they are not and never will be a true trainer. If smart enough to train then smart enough to share. If not get out of the business. Fads are not training they are exercise at best. A true trainer must have competed at a high level, nationals or above, and never been injured.

Equinox attracts really stellar people. I worked as a massage therapist in the spa, but made friends in every department. It really felt like a tight-knit, loving family. We really took care of each other. Even many of the members felt like a part of the family. Plus, the free gym membership and yoga/fitness classes can't be beat...and there's so much eye candy! I'd pay for an Eq membership.

Cons

Management is the worst. Our club was a revolving door, managers coming and going every few months. It takes ages for anything to get done. My pay was late once due to a payroll error and it took them almost a week to fix- zero sense of urgency when it comes to taking care of their people. Very little employee appreciation = very high dissatisfaction and turn over.
