Pros

Gain access to clients and learn what not to do for training clients.

Cons

Focuses only on "functional fitness" Micro-management is huge here. They love to make you work ridiculously long hours wearing the blue shirt. The location I worked at was nearly impossible to find clients that way. The managers played favorites and would send leads to their friends instead of evenly distributing them. Huge turn over rates among new hired trainers.

It's a good place to meet people in order to launch your own company. Great place to make some money meet some good businessman that can help you launch your own platform.

Cons

What kills us places management. There's no vision there's no passion just numbers. There are no leaders, just a few 5% trainers who are called top performers. This is in a place you're going to raise a family, have kids, retire. I've seen managers come and go and employees the turnover here is undeniable. And the performance reviews year after year don't look so good when clubs are failing due to miss management. Harvey Spevak needs to wake up. There's problems in your internal infrastructure. That's why some of your clubs don't meet quotas. I hope the hotel business is gonna work out for you. The best thing the clubs offer or high prices and high turnovers for employees. It is basically a factory.

Huge company. Top of the food chain only cares about stuffing their wallets. Wages have gone down for part time employees.
