Pros

You will gain some good experience.

Cons

-The salary is too low -People higher up are not willing to listen to anyone and expect you to agree with their views from the stone age. - The company does not invest in people -The company tries to keep people at the lowest level possible -The staff turnover is extremely high, and nobody does anything about this. -There are people who have been in their roles for decades and have become too comfortable, therefore the company can not move forward.

Outdated Sales Org

Pros

Coworkers are friendly. Benefits are not good, but there are benefits.

Cons

Organizationally, this company is straight from 1994. The general feel is that of a start up that has already capped its growth potential. Sales routinely works 10+ hour days due to lack of support. There are no SDR or product specialist roles. Sales is responsible for all customer service, all prospecting, all contractual/legal issues, and then trying to hit their sales target in whatever time they have left. This is on top of being paid much less than the average enterprise sales role. Turnover is extremely high. There is a clear inner circle. Each office has 5-10 people who are untouchable while the remainder of the employees are churned through. I have never felt valued during my time with this company, I’m just here to make sure senior management has enough revenue to continue working on senseless projects for their own egos. Promotions occur from within which only means that your managers are people who hit sales targets before, not actual managers. Micromanagement is rampant.
