Diverse Consulting Environment

Pros

Flexible work time for freelance consulting projects. Consulting projects vary in scope and subject matter, so it is possible to gain a more diverse understanding of the business. The company also offers intermittent training modules to attend via video conferencing, although this is on your own dime.

Cons

Survey data can be difficult to acquire. Depending on the engagement, there are few opportunities to provide original, value-added research and results.

Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to get a wide range of experiences. There is a lot of project variety and ability to work for high profile companies and clients. The company is growing quickly and there will continue to be a lot of job opportunities tied to this growth. Coworkers are very friendly and the work environment can easily be categorized as fun.

Cons

There are a lot of growing pains with a company at this stage of development. Long hours are not uncommon and most consultants are stretched quite thin.
