The bottom line is, this company doesn’t treat you like you’re a licensed professional who went to school and is licensed by the state. They treat you like cattle. You have no say and your opinion doesn’t matter.
You have no say in your book, your schedule or how the GSA fits people in the schedule. The motto is “ be seen now” that means, even if you don’t have enough time to perform the service correctly, you will be expected to do it. It’s ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Nothing else matters, not the comfort of the guest or the sanity of the waxer.
The commission is laughable... and that’s at the centers that still even offer commission. The company gave the franchisee owners the option to take away commission completely.
Like I said, you are not treated like a professional. Taking away commission is an insult. This company exists bc franchisee owners have enough money to buy into it. ( they don’t need to have any experience or background in the industry at all and it shows)
It’s a cash cow for them... at the expense of the people who do all the work. This is the reason the average life of a waxer is 18 months with this company. It takes about that long to be completely disgusted.
I really wish the CEO and the Cobas actually read these reviews. I can only assume they don’t ( or if they do, they simply don’t care) because in my 6 years, nothing ever got better. It only got worse.
