Pros
Before working for EWC, I had done much research on the company thru glassdoor, indeed, etc.. I was a little frightened to be quite honest, there were a lot of horrible reviews. I had got a call back from the store manager and said " hey, just go and see for yourself."
I had interviewed at a few wax places and honestly felt the best vibes from EWC.
So when I got a call back, I decided to take the position.
My first week was pretty intense, your learning all the protocols and like any other job, it can get overwhelming. But if you really pay attention and execute what you learn, you will be successful.
I can say I am very happy I took the position, it's been about a month since I started and do not regret anything. My manager is super supportive, my trainer was/is so helpful, which I can say about the whole team.
So long story short, if you put in the work, you can make a lot of money....
Cons
If you do not like people, this job is not for you! It is all about building relationships with your guests!!
You don't get a lunch break on some days, but the time goes by so quick you don't really notice, and if you bring food you can sneak some bites in between guests.
