      Didn't finish training

      Friendly coworkers. flexible scheduling. Learned some tips and tricks.

      Cons

      Didn't finish the training process. Was taught the "right" way to do things THREE DIFFERENT ways. Videos, and two different trainers. Trainer lifted skin in the bikini area on my friend who was also training. my friend also has a bald spot on her eyebrow from the trainer waxing her brows and has been complaining or constant itching for two weeks. Trainer also waxed my brows and made one A LOT shorter than the other which I had to correct on my own. Was also told during the free services to push products on people and when I finished the service, I was required to walk them to the 'product wall' and suggest products AND put them in their hands or give the to the front desk girls so that the customer "feels guilty and buys at least one product". My friend who was also training with me left as well. Both didn't agree with their policies. Both found better opportunities.

      Pros

      Flexible and nice group of girls to work with. Would recommend to any person looking for in depth waxing experience -- but is not a great long term option as it takes its toll physically.

      Cons

      Low hourly wage, and 5% commission on services is a joke and basically slave labor -- $3.50 for a back breaking $70 leg wax is basically what you're getting. Then you can expect to be tipped a measly $3.00; if at all. The work can be incredibly grueling, with no breaks, if you work at a busy center. also the company late policy is ridiculous -- clients are allowed to be 9 minutes late to a 15 minute appointment, backing up your appointments and having to deal with angry clients, with the added stress of time restraints. It can quickly turn into a nightmare.

      Pros

      You can make as much money as you want if you Hustle. If you don't have that trait, you will be broke because hourly isn't enough to survive. Competitive environment so it makes you work that much harder. Great tips, I was able to save 10,000 in a yr. You have your own waxing room. Face paced depending on location. Free waxing if you work there and half off on products.

      Cons

      Sometimes alot of women can be messy and ewc is a chain so sometimes the way they do commission is different based on where you work, no benefits like 401k, health ect. Hard to get a day off because your clients are scheduled sometimes weeks in advance.
