Pros

Remote working/ hybrid working is useful

Cons

Lack of career progression for technical staff – Despite being a data-driven organization, there is limited opportunity for advancement within technical roles, with more focus and recognition given to commercial and managerial paths. • Increased workload due to redundancies – Staff are often overloaded following rounds of redundancies, with little support or recognition for the additional responsibilities taken on. • Stealth redundancies – Rather than clear communication, there are instances of quiet, indirect redundancy processes, leading to uncertainty and low morale. • Ethically questionable redundancy practices – avoiding mass redundancies by doing them in smaller batches to avoid legal and regulatory responsibilities. Experian don’t care about mental health

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you raising these concerns. At Experian, we strive to foster a workplace where every employee feels supported, valued, and heard. We understand that times of organisational change can be challenging, and we’re committed to improving how we communicate and support our teams through these transitions. We’d like to highlight the role of our dedicated Employee Relations (ER) team, who work closely with employees and leaders to ensure fair, transparent, and respectful practices across the business. We also recognise the importance of mental health and wellbeing, which is why we’re proud to support our people through initiatives like everyMind, our mental health-focused Employee Resource Group (ERG). everyMind provides safe spaces, resources, and peer support to help employees navigate personal and professional challenges. Regarding career progression, especially within technical roles, we’re actively reviewing our development pathways to ensure that technical talent is recognised and nurtured, with clear opportunities for growth outside of traditional commercial or managerial tracks. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve.

Pros

If you don't have any option, choose Experian. Free Food & snacks.

Cons

Dummy HR Team. Every employee must work 14-16 hours per day. Every new joiner should give 5-star rating and share to HR. Managers are Biased. Worst team culture.

Thanks for leaving a review. Disappointing to read your 1 star feedback, particularly as you've clearly been with us from the start in Hyderabad (thank you for being part of our success for 5 years now). I'd like to address two aspects of your comments: 1. As an organisation we can't edit or delete Glassdoor reviews nor do we incentivise or penalise anyone to leave a review. Reviews are authentic and anonymous. 2. Your comments around work life balance do differ from other Hyderabad Experian Glassdoor reviews, I'd strongly recommend approaching a site leader or Nidhi (Vice President HR) to discuss and find a solution. It would be great to have the opportunity to improve your Experian journey.
