Pros

The long time Experian people are wonderful and supportive. Great benefits. Flexible work schedules. Fully remote for most positions.

Cons

Newer people have joined HR and they have determined that too many people were getting good reviews, so now they push back on everything. Not sure how this is "valuing employees" like they say they do. Work / life balance is not great.

Cons

As a former employee of Experian, I can confidently say that it is a well-regarded company with many positive aspects. However, based on my experience within the Penetration Testing/Security Engineer, I observed some areas for improvement: - The pentesting testing manager lacks technical expertise and team management skills. He frequently delegates his responsibilities to other team members, often taking credit for our work. - There are no opportunities for senior PT roles, and existing roles are stagnant with no clear paths for promotion or salary increases. - The pentesting manager has one/two favorite members and always nominates their names in front of management for spotlight awards with no appreciation for the work of other team members.
