Pros

Decent pay and ability to work mainly from home.

Cons

Senior Management that treat you purely as a number despite pretending to be a 'Great Place to Work'. When the excessive profits just start to dip slightly they have no hesitation in arbitrarily getting rid of long-serving employees.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. It is disheartening to read you’ve rated 2 stars. As an Experian employee myself your comments regarding senior management and 'pretending' to be a great place to work do come as a surprise. Our Great Place to Work credentials, i.e. accredited in 24 countries, is based exclusively on anonymous employee feedback. In our 2023 survey I'm pleased to say 87% of colleagues said Experian is a great place to work. We’re 100% focused on making Experian an exceptional place to work, which I feel is reflected fairly in our current Glassdoor ratings from 6k+ reviews. We always welcome feedback in order to address any concerns a colleague might have, and from current and former employees alike. It’s a shame that you are now a former employee, UK&I leaders, HR and I would have done everything possible to listen and improve your Experian journey had we been aware. If you’re open to sharing more context I’d really welcome to opportunity to better understand your experiences, doug.kelsall@experian.com

Thank you for taking the time to provide your experiences on areas where we can improve. While it was great to see you rate work/life balance, culture and DEI as 5 stars, we are certainly disappointed with the 2 star rating . We do value the candid feedback on where we can improve and be more progressive. We are 100% focused on making Experian an exceptional place to work, which I feel is reflected fairly in our current global 4.3 Star Glassdoor rating from 6k+ reviews. The Glassdoor platform only allows to make a single response so its limited in fully addressing your comments. If you’re open to sharing more context, I’d welcome the opportunity.

Pros

- Good flexibility with work life balance - Decent employee perks

Cons

- Difficult to progress if you are a grade D or below. - If you are a Grade D or below say good buy to any promotion opportunities - HR do not like to promote internally! - All opportunities are currently going to the Hyderabad Office in India, however quality is no where as good as UK resource...its just cheaper! - Training opportunities are slim! - HR want current employers to leave...this includes HR Staff!! - Only the exec team are guarenteed a Bonus! - A Bell curve rating system....no matter how well your team perform, someone has to get a 2 on their appraisal. This means no Bonus opportunities.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. Unfortunately, the Glassdoor platform only allows us me to make a single response and I’m concerned that won’t enable me to fully address your comments and even worse not give me the opportunity to improve your experience. I have personally been proud of the internal promotions we have made in HR over the past few years, promoting people into Heads of HR, Senior HR Business Partner’s and Senior Talent Acquisition Manager’s to name a few. Development in the HR team is also really important, we partner with CRF and i4cp to provide access to market leading insight, run a HR Rising Stars programme and the HRBP masterclass which is in flight at the moment. Our commitment to the fabulous people and offices in the UK is strong – the UK is and will always be a key strategic hub for Experian, at the same time as growing our footprint into other geographies around the world. Lastly, I was concerned about your comments on the performance process, I believe we run a fair and transparent system, which enables us to build a thriving and high performing culture. I’d love to understand your points of view in more detail and would therefore warmly encourage you to connect with me directly - Rachel Duncan, Chief People Officer UK&I
