Pros

Absolutely no pros to this company/franchise.

Cons

Offered position as a Front Office Coordinator. Loved the job. HOWEVER, first, they are NOT BBB accredited. Second, I worked very hard to organize the particular "franchise." The owners and "staff consultants," came across as very empathetic toward the "unemployable." They would laugh when someone came in to apply, after they left. I worked four days. I overheard a conversation between a young lady and the "staff consultant," who hired me on Thursday, if he (staff consultant), had asked the owners if she could have my job. Really, I'm college educated and could hear the whole conversation. This young lady sat in front the next day, (a Friday), while I still came in and worked. I overheard yet another conversation. "You have her job," come dressed business casual on Monday. At 4:30, the owner asks me into his office. He advises me, I did not "fit into the family." While, I had an excellent work ethic, he was having someone come in from the Pueblo, Colorado office for my position. He blatantly lied to my face. I told the owner, I heard both conversations, and he became very nervous. I was "used," for lack of a better term. When I came in to pick up the check, the young girl was at the front desk, in my position. I won't work for hypocrites and liars. Go to Morgan Hunter. They are professional, and it is not a "franchise."

Pros

The franchise owner genuinely wanted to serve others and make a difference due to his conviction regarding his faith.

Cons

Very much stuck in the 1990s and has an old-school outlook on the workplace. It was business formal and was asked to wear heels daily. The most unfortunate part about it was I was hired on as a manager, started, and then was required to be a team lead until I got the swing of things. Two weeks later someone who would have been on my team started and disclosed his salary. I was to be his boss, but he was making $10K more than I was. I had negotiated my salary and his base was what I was denied. After finding this out, I quit three days later.

Pros

Express Seattle had good benefits, it was a relatively easy job, it's pretty autonomous, and it CAN BE great pay if you're a grinder and deal with rejection well. It's a tough job, for every 50 losses, you might get 1 win. But if you stick with it and can be successful in this role, any sales position for the rest of your career will be a cakewalk.

Cons

The owner says that he is hands on and will mentor you, but you'll be lucky to see him, or interact with him more than once a week. It's essentially door to door sales, and there are essentially no opportunities to move up, or be promoted unless your branch owner wants to make you a general manager, or a co-owner. It's also hard to sell a product you don't believe in, and it's hard to believe in it when you're telling clientsthat an employee who gets paid $16/hr will cost $30/hr. Or if they want to direct hire an employee outright, they'll have to pay 20% of their salary to Express. They're also unrealistic on some "KPIs". I was given "door pull" goals and had to go to 50+ businesses/week prospecting. Often I was told to go to high end skyrise towers and go door to door "until you get kicked out by security".
