Bad leadership, terrible salaries but GREAT environment
Pros
FARFETCH is great in hiring people — they have the best group of people to work with, the work environment is great and I always felt emotionally safe to speak my mind, suggest, criticise and question, though majority of people don't do the same. People working there is the main reason to keep working there, which is amazing.
Cons
People don't deal well with problems and criticism. There is no clear strategy, majority of leadership don't know what they're doing, don't know how to communicate to their peers and don't care for managing their teams — people are often lost in their positions, not knowing how to perform their tasks accordingly or WHY to work on what they are working. Worst part, FARFETCH pays one of the worst salaries in tech industry in Portugal and people working on same positions in different countries have no equity in payment — even considering differences in life cost, people in other countries tend to receive way more than people in Portugal.
