Pros

Nobody will tell you anything if you chill worker and don't want any growth or appraisal.

Cons

There will be no motivation for your work. repetitive work. after the first year, you will feel that there is no motivation to give your best from the knowledge or salary side because no knowledge gained in repetitive work and no increment although you will get demotivated because your junior will get a higher salary. So it will be like after 2 or 3 years you will be getting the same salary as a new grad working at a junior position. you will be disheartened because a Chinese colleague from your team will get a raise as well as a position, even if he/she is not a performer. Talking to your manager will not change anything because your manager will give you the excuse that in the middle of the year there will be no promotion but silently give a promotion to your Chinese colleague. they started a new trend to show liberals they are hiring Sikh guys with turbans and putting other cultural people one or two in each team. they are ok to give you a salary match when you are moving to another company such a pity. Fortinet is so cheap they will not give you promotion or appraisal to their employees when they are working but yes when an employee is fed up and moving then they are ok to give double salary.

Ken Xie is an awful CEO

Pros

There are pockets of strong leadership that make Fortinet a fun place to work. It's a growth industry with opportunities for upward mobility due to attrition and understaffing.

Cons

Ken Xie micromanages the business with bizarre decision-making that moves the company backward. He elevates incompetent management who are loyal to him to keep that decision-making structure in place. It's a very frustrating and uninspiring place to work.

Pros

You can work on stat holidays and then use day off afterwards

Cons

- working in Fortinet TAC sucks 1. Lack of proper training. 2. Way understaffed 3. Workload is way too much for on engineer 4. Managers want you to work like animals here. 5. Job cam actually affecr your health ( too much stress). Getting 8 calls and total 8 tickets a day, then from previous day tickets as well. You have to manage lot off SLA’s. 6. Everything seems to be buggy. Customers are really frustrated on products other than Fortigate. 7. TAC teams for fct, faz are all the same. 8. Only come here if you are not able to find a job anywhere. 9. Wont have time to do labs or recreate customers environment so engineer will take insults from customers. And managers seems to be fine with this. 10. Managers take calls and tickets hoping to show some sympathy. ( Do your job and hire more people) 11. By the end of day you will be sucked up, You will feel like life has been drained out of you. 12. Dont accept an offer from fortinet tac. they will make you work 24 hours ( not an official statement but they will keep pushing work towards you so you will have no choice) 13. Wont ask you to do overtime ( they will have to pay but it’s pretty normal you are working after hours) 14. Fortinet keeps on releasinf products without proper testing ( so many bugs) 15. Managers will prefer to hire people from their own race. (Check fortigate TAC team )
