Pros

Real interest in making it in the industry In expansion, not hard to get in Bought several different studios and kept people around "Famous" professionals, touted as such internally at least

Cons

"Not hard to get in" also means very shitty hiring review process Game directors seem to have free range to do whatever in every project No development system across the company, structure is confusing, no clear goals to anything Seems internal feedbacks we give are never addressed (even in playtests) Hiring friends is commonplace in upper levels which is at least questionable considering some roles won't have anything to do during months and months until that role is called upon Brazilian managers kept in place after several issues (even to the point of explicitly saying Brazilian workers should be paid less than their international counterparts for the same role or lowering certain rewards "to match local currency") The above also leads to very high wage gaps between workers in the same role The entertainment-not-HR group "people's team", which lots of people dont quite enjoy Company has heavily suggested workers "should leave a review"on Glassdoor, which seemed to imply a positive one

Pros

It is a new company trying to imitate some popular moblie games with mediocre versions, but it is very easy to get hired!

Cons

If you really want to grow your skills and your carrer as an Artist doing some cool characters that you would be proud to put in your porfolio to expand your opportunities then....this is definetely NOT the right the place for you, If you are a junior artist just starting your journey and you are looking for a company that would hire you easily without many requirements, then this is your company! althought you will spend a lot of time in useless meetings, reporting what you are doing 2/3 times per day, and just doing some boring technical tasks instead of creative/artistic ones. You will end out burnt out, frustrated, just doing it for the money without any other motivation. They only want you to follow their direction, which always lack of appeal, good taste, strong design and mostly very noticeable anatomical problems on the characters Their art is really poor, mediocre and cheap and they pretend they listen to their employees suggestions but the truth is that they don't, there is no room for improvement, you will just become a production monkey. I know many great artist that moved from big studios to new startups like this, so I accepted the job thinking that was going to be the case here, but they only want you to follow their ridiculous feedback like an obedient soldier with no voice... The company has very ambicious plans but without any strong product to make a difference in the horizon. -Nepotism. seems they hire they own friends no matter the talent. -They behave like a cult, lots of cringe moments! -Same complains on IT and other departments

Pros

Great salary, respectful and very experienced team, lots of space to deploy industry-standard solutions and to also create new stuff. Very result-driven and somewhat fun people. Lots of great tools are being used and the language choices and architecture of the games are pretty much on-spot. There are always things to improve but overall the code is easy to navigate and add to.

Cons

Leadership is weird and somewhat far but I have experienced much worse in the past. There's also this feeling that Sr. Engineers are going to start giving out orders because of their seniority, as team leaders do sometimes, but for now, I have only experienced people who usually listen and suggest, instead of command. Myself, while being senior, didn't find anyone to be too reliant on their role to suggest a solution. The current Brazilian health benefits are very bad. All of the services are based in Londrina and there are very few good options for health care and dental care in other states. Health care is the special culprit here for it's the worst among all benefits. Also, the payment for the home-office benefit is weird. Home office stuff is paid every 3 months.
