Big enough to have a wide range of shared resources available.

Cons

Our publication was acquired by Future, and it was never quite the same afterwards. Editorial priorities took a back seat to commercial interests, and overall enthusiasm of my peers dipped off a cliff.

Budgets are extremely tight. Staff are extremely unprofessional and gossipy on and offline. Publishing industry constantly at risk.
