Pros

-Nice peers -Three restaurants -Nice benefits and perks

Cons

-Supply planner: New comers get overworked and low pay as well as added in a lower ranking professional grade. Never accept a grade 8 on this role paying less than 40k, you are will be ripped off big times!. We have here people with 2 years relevant experience earning much more than that on a greater professional category (G6 or G7) -Mafias inside function that negotiate how many people move from one team to another, so you might get blocked or an otherwise highly successful application will turn out into nothing -Consumer sell on the banner of "GSK" but you will be working on a team that looks like a hybrid between L'Oreal and Reckitt. No value, no integrity and no transparency on the recruitment of succession plans

Pros

Close to home and I enjoy my peer co-workers. Salary average. Bonus disappointing.

Cons

I knew GSK as a Pharmaceutical Sales company from my years in the field selling pharmaceutical products. Never in a million years would I think that working for this organization would be so dysfunctional! I admit that going from a field based position to working in a manufacturing environment would require an adjustment. But three years later I can tell you that this organization does NOT live by its "Values". It is a "Boys-club" and the majority of Upper management "leads" through bullying and intimidation. Communication is conducted via a Top-down driven, command and control, hierarchical structure. In today's business world never in a million years would I think that this type of organization would still exist. No room for advancement. Not even a courtesy interview when applying for internal positions. In fact I have proof that in one case the hiring manager never even received my resume / application.

Pros

Staff consists of high-quality professionals working in a cooperative culture. The compensation package is good with excellent benefits. Company markets products that positively impact people.

Cons

Company has been in state of transition for 15 years without a consistent target which is impacting company culture. Management decisions are often reactionary, rather than strategic.
