Pros

On a personal level the people are awesome so you make a lot of friends which makes working there bearable.

Cons

A total failure of management means a lot of wasted talent and failed games The studio directors and game managers let down their teams and are the direct reason for this failure of a studio. They rest on the success of one game that was launched with a winning IP at a time when it was easy to gain traction in the FTP market. Now they couldn't produce a successful game to save their lives. But it's not for lack of talent, it's entirely due to poor production methods and even worse management. The studio directors... and I can't stress this enough.... ALL the studio directors lack people management skills, lack bigger picture planning skills and literally lack anything that is required to be successful in their roles. They inevitably were good at what they did which allowed them to get promoted while failing to have the skills essential to the jobs they were promoted to. Now this isn't meant to be management bashing. But management is where all things succeed or fail. They cannot succeed with this management and it will not change with this management, it will only be band-aid solutions until HQ finally pulls the plug on this studio or cleans house. I highly suspect it won't change due to the extreme culture of gaslighting that exists here. The games are designed only to rip off their players instead of providing value to encourage organic monetization. It's unbelievably old fashioned and in the current market it will continue to FAIL. Compensation is far below industry standard. Benefits are lack luster and work from home isn't guaranteed after the pandemic The culture on paper sounds great - the people are great - the idea of that resulting from the culture is a fraud. The culture is one of gaslighting, undermining and burnout.

Pros

Friendly atmosphere, nice colleagues, good start for students.

Cons

A looooooooooooooot of overtimes and very unstable development process due to the top management. The plans and scopes are unrealistic. Decisions are changing often and quickly. The holy rule is to remake everything just before the launch. Many HQ producers are laymen who are former network marketing salesmen and know nothing about the industry. Almost all of them are scared of Julien, the Head of Production. They don't even try to say anything against him, even when necessary. This gnome with napoleon complex is a huge crap-generator and spoiler. Actually, bad performance of the company last years is a result of the above listed.

Pros

Great, creative, hard working studios.

Cons

Train wreck management in Paris with too many cooks in the kitchen. People making game decisions with no past game experience. CEO is just fine, it is management that are directly under him that are the issue.
