Good people, Horrible overtime and HQ decisions

Pros

The people there is friendly. The quality of the games shipped are usually good.

Cons

Horrible HQ decisions. Small salary. Tons of overtime. Projects cancelled when the project was over 90% completed. Old PC's and old software licenses. No bonuses at all.

- Great Studio People: Some of the kindest and most talented people I have worked with - Studio management tries to encourage after work activities, healthy lifestyles etc. whenever it's feasible

Cons

- HQ: - Every creative decision traverses 5 layers of management, extremely slow turnaround times - No original ideas welcome (though they claim otherwise) - Business model revolves around cloning successful games. In fact, this is the only way to get your ideas through (Game X did it! Can we?) - Money comes far above all other incentives. Sure it's a business, but they like to implement the worst, most predatory monetization tactics. - 80+ Hour weeks for 70% of project duration - Poor pay, despite the company being very profitable
