      Pros

      Tons of shop floor knowledge. The people I worked with had several years of experience. The pay was fair, but constantly changing. The People care for each other and watch out for each other.

      Cons

      Management answers to the share holder, passed the majority of rising health care costs on to employees, while still turning a profit. Reduced the overall benefits/bonuses to employees while still turning a profit. Direct Management was in the dark and had to jump through hoops for Corporate. The corporate structure is entirely to large. Extremely dangerous environment. 2 people died from industrial accidents during my tenure. Limited Opportunities to move up.

      Cons

      The steel/construction industry is very old school. I would love some modern thoughts on business incorporated into our industry.
