You get the schedule for the next week a night before and there will be plenty of changes without prior knowledge, owner can’t get peoples schedules correct so that’s always a mess. There is no communication between the staff with who is working and picking up shifts. Be prepared to work alone. No basic supplies needed to perform your job (like products) state board regulations arnt followed aka constantly running out of disinfectants, hand soap. No benefits and don’t give you any information about your sick time, how much you’ve allocated or used nothing because they don’t want you to use it most stylists don’t even know they get paid sick time because it’s not mentioned. Cheap tippers but that doesn’t really matter as much as how horrible the owners will treat you
