      They don’t care

      Pros

      Good tips and constant walk in customers.

      Cons

      They put you at risk by allowing you to work alone, have made us work with a restroom for days. Underpaid and under appreciative of what stylist do. Always get called in on days off. Expect managers to be available 24/7 even on vacations. Don’t care when employees bring up issues in the salon. They will work you till you hate to do hair.

      Worst job ever! Run as fast as you can!

      Some of the clients were good people.

      Cons

      Everything. They are slave drivers. I left the industry because of the Horrible Manager and greedy owners. Micromanaged, overworked and underpaid with zero benefits and no future. Horrible experience.

      Rewarding but demanding!

      GREAT coworkers(!!!), guaranteed paycheck & tips, benefits, constant stream of customers, education

      Cons

      Always short staffed, long wait times causes frustration for customers & anxiety for stylists, VERY demanding on your body, no base pay raises unless you move up to some type of management position
