      Very weak SW products and management team

      Not many pros besides a reasonable salary and flexible schedule

      Cons

      - Poor management, unqualified managers to run the enterprise software business - Old SW impossible to sale, unclear roadmaps and priority changes every other month - Accounting dictates what is a good or bad business wise - Poor vision on how to growth the business and unreasonable price making impossible to compete - No commission payment for key deals - No install base makes difficult to bring customers and prospects together - Poor company culture, lack of respect of assigned territories and opportunities - Unbelievable slow internal processes

      Lost in old-style management, too slow and political

      Pros

      Used to be a good company when it was part of ABB and wasn't yet seen as the ugly duckling. In the past years, things have progressively become worse.

      Cons

      Say-do ratio is close to zero. the company is too slow and bureaucratic to stay competitive in a difficult market such as the energy distribution one. Maybe Hitachi will get things back on track, but I doubt they will be fast enough in stopping the free fall. A good 80% of the people hired from outside ABB in the past 5-10 years, especially at management level and especially those who dared to bring in a new perspective, have already left Power Grids again - what does this tell you?

      Once you get in its great.

      Cons

      Recruiters are absolutely useless for this division. No one wants to call you back or talk on the phone. No response to emails. Its like these guys dont do anything. It doesn't matter if you are a new employee or an existing one these guys dont care. Extremely disappointed.
