Pros

It is pretty easy to get a position here since they have somewhat low requirements for new employees. They will put you through a two week training class that will teach you almost everything you need to know though. Free lunch for those who qualify, but you get what you pay for sometimes.

Cons

Nepotism. It seems that the only way to get ahead is to befriend the management. Being on time seems to be more important than actual job knowledge and performance. They pay under industry standard for the type of work being done because they know the economy is in a downturn. Management doesn't care about their employees, and they treat them as if they are dispensable and without any respect. They will bully you to get what they want from you and won't hold up their end of the bargain when the time comes. (i.e, trading a shift change for a raise or a promotion -- you might change shifts for them, but you may not get that raise/promotion.) HR policies are made with the company's benefit in mind, without consideration to employees (or some state laws). It's what you would expect from people who are married to management without any real HR experience. The NDA they ask you to sign now is pretty ridiculous if you read it through. Lastly, I would not recommend working here if you are a woman.

Pros

Full time benefits On Site Gym Casual Dress Free lunch (You have to qualify) Flexible Scheduling Nice Co-Workers Basically, it's a nice starter job for someone who is interested in the Web Hosting Tech Field or needs some steady money.

Cons

The job itself is great but not worth the pay. Management : Simply doesn't either know or care about how to run an effective business. The number one thing is how they treat their employees. They do play favorites and when you're no longer the person of the week, you are treated poorly. This means double write ups for the same thing by two different people and it counts each time. The Pay: I understand that we are in a recession and that tightening belts is important but I'm certain that they are not at a loss for any Business. To have a great employee/employer relationship, you reward those who are loyal to you. This means pay raises, not bringing in cheap replacements. As anyone in the tech field knows, cheap labor The pay is basically below minimum wage for any Tech job. Especially dealing with irate customers on a daily basis.

Pros

Free lunch, decent pay, supportive managers. Regular company sponsored outings, the insurance is not terrible as well. Most of the people you will work with are pretty great.

Cons

The work schedule is very competitive, as a hosting company they need support agents 24/7 so you will typically end up working weekends and crazy hours.
