Hyatt is a great corporation to work for. Each Hyatt has a different culture, some are more structured than others.

Pros

Hyatt has great flexibility. It is relatively easy to transfer to different departments and/or locations. The benefits are good and include discounts on hotel rooms. Working during holidays can be required since they are always open. They also provide employee cafeterias.

Cons

The pay is competitive for hotels in the area but still not good.

Management is great and works with employees to create a great working atmosphere. You get a lot of experience in different departments; no need to stand in one place all day. Discount hotel rooms are nice too!

Cons

The hours can be tough: either 7am to 3pm, or 3pm to 11pm shifts. It is a fast paced work environment -- no time to sit down!
