Pros

Pay is Good Employee Discount at other hotels is great Shift goes by quickly because property is always so busy.

Cons

Management is quick to write up without finding out what happened--Later acknowledges that they are wrong but will not apologize. Management hires friends. These people get the best shifts/hours and generally get treated better. Upper managers make you feel disposable. Been threatened to be fired if you fail the secret shopper. Constantly threatened by write-ups to the point that you are afraid to make decisions. Management thinks they are the most wonderful people in existence and have unrealistic expectations of what employees are capable of.

Pros

Good training programs for sales ppl. Executive committee members are very supportive.

Cons

Low payroll. Gives high salary easily when recruiting from outside, but hard for internal promotion or payroll increase. Entry level employees are not well respected. Middle management team is useless, take no responsibilities.
