Pros

Great place to start getting experience - specially if you do t have much. Flexible working hours. Amazing people working there!

Cons

They are a bit sexist and women's opinions are not considered there. If you don't speak Chinese, you will never have chances of being promoted.

We appreciate the feedback and glad that we have amazing people at IGG, but are amazing people usually sexist? The Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Finance Officer at IGG are both female, and many of the decision making in our various departments are carried out by women, so we may have a different view as to what being a sexist is. As for promotions, we can admit that being able to speak Chinese will give you a bigger variety of job fluidity within IGG because our headquarters are in Singapore with our biggest branch located in China, but we can also ensure you that not being able to speak Chinese will not dismiss you of any promotion potential. If you have any more comments or suggestions, please email us at jobs.cn@igg.com.

We appreciate your feedback and do recognize some of our flaws that you have mentioned, but some may also be a result of miscommunication. First, we do indeed provide bonuses quite frequently, but the majority is based on a results performance analysis of the project or game each team has been or is currently working on. We do recognize our previous lack of trust and continue to improve on this by communicating with and accepting all of our employees in the IGG family.

Pros

It's a good entry level position for anybody looking to get some experience before moving on to a more serious company. It is also very beneficial to have the ability to work with upper management very closely as both the COO and the CTO are in the same office.

Cons

The pay was the biggest problem. The job requires a huge time investment and because of the odd work hours it's not rare that you have to work more than 12 hours a day and sometimes weekends as well. All of that for no additional compensation.

Your views on our past humiliating actions are more than valid, and that is why IGG has invested a great deal into the welfare of our employees. For example, employees at our Fuzhou branch can now enjoy a swim after work or watch a film in our personal movie theater. Life and work balance is one of the keys to satisfaction and work productivity. We continue to strive to bring only the best to our IGG family.
