Pros

I've been working at IGG Canada for more than 2 years and I saw the company grow significantly, it's a great environment to develop in the game industry with a lot of opportunities in all areas (from art to coding). The company has a strong leadership that constantly values employees that standout. It's quite hard to find full-contract jobs in Vancouver, usually companies give you only 6-months contract, which prevents you from growing in your career. Additional notes: - the company offers robust resources for improving the work, such as top of the line workstations, in-house mocap, cintiqs, etc. - while other CG companies are closing in Vancouver, IGG is growing and fast, while other companies are firing or reducing work time during pandemic, IGG is expanding.

Cons

You have to be ready for tight schedules, the company has ambitious projects, so you have to be creative to achieve the high demands. Sometimes there is overtime, but compared to any other job I had it's mild
