Pros

- Regularly resupplied kitchen - limited creative constrictions

Cons

- blatant sexism and sexual harassment - teams are generally pitted against each other rather than encouraged to work collaboratively - lack of transparency from upper management - limited to no room for advancement - unfair salary rates compared to regional market standard

We are glad you enjoyed the kitchen, but we are extremely disappointed in ourselves that a member of the IGG family feels to be seen as a mere number. Every company, including ourselves, must realize that all of our employees such as our artists, designers, PR specialists, etc are the rock and the foundation of our company. If you would like to discuss or send more feedback to us so we can continue to improve the conditions for our employees, please do so at jobs.cn@igg.com. Thank you

Pros

- Pay is decent for location (Fuzhou, China) but that's only because they need to pay a premium to get outside talent to move to such a minor city. - Office is nice, with a gym/pool, 3 restaurants with free food allowance and a cinema. - Friendly, hard-working colleagues in lower positions. Mid-upper level managers are hit and miss.

Cons

- Little to no creativity in games or process with management insisting on sticking to the script because "that's how it's done here". - Your voice will commonly be ignored with no explanation. CEO regularly overturns decisions of teams on a whim. - Very political. A lot of staff in the higher management positions are poor performers with little to no knowledge of the games industry and only there because they've been around since the beginning. Results in regular mistakes that cost a lot of money to the company. - Employees with ambition or talent tend to leave fairly quickly because of the above reasons. - Very real glass ceiling for non-Chinese speakers.

Thank you. We would like to extend our gratitude to you for the time you spent to write such a detailed critique. Taking comments seriously such as yours is one of the first steps to improve communication within the company and improve IGG as a whole. With a solid foundation of free communication at all levels, that is when innovation will come to full bloom. This also goes hand in hand with creativity, when communication is free, creativity can also flourish.

Pros

Good for entry level experience. Good stepping stone for out of college studends looking to gain some experience.

Cons

Low pay. There is no career growth. The culture is extremely toxic, and there is no punishment for horrible behavior.
