Pros

1. Driving skillset has improved as travelling through most congested areas of pune 4days a week. 2. You will get to know SDLC process in action. 3. Good insurance benefit 4. Account and IT dept is good. nice people.

Cons

Unfortunately cons list is 2x then pros list . 1. Toxicity injected from higher management . Indian management sitting right on top have no clues how to improve efficiency of engineers are forcing employees to come to office and expects engineers to show up middle of the night as well. Once I have really felt for this org . Now all emotions are gone. there was a time , I used to listen townhall till midnight because that leadership was so good , you can keep of listening to them. they were fantastic really. Now because of higher management all managers have become toxic. 2. Although I got 3% appraisal , some people got 1% even after all the hard work. 3. Management thinks engineers are labor. 4. All good perks and benefits are almost revoked in the name of budget cut. 5. Budget cuts are that bad , admins now mix water in hadwash liquids in washrooms. No quarterly team outing . 6. Company is secretly tracking hours in office and forcing employees to stay back 7. Company fired US employees with 1 day notice. I feel for them.If company can fire in US , Indian employees are also not safe. Fearful and worrying employee env management has created over the past 2 years. 8. Management openly exploits employees asking them to do overtime at middle of the night if appraisal is required for next year. 9. HR dept is not independent. They listen to what managers tell them. Employee's opinion does not matter to them.

Okay But Not Great

Pros

- Colleagues: The people there are generally friendly and welcoming. There can be some difficult characters in the Sales teams but most are pleasant to work with. - Career Opportunities: There are always opportunities to move to different roles/teams around the company and management is usually quite supportive of this.

Cons

- Workload: The company has a 'lean' work structure and there are often staffing gaps due to high staff turnover. The better you are at your job, the more responsibilities you end up 'inheriting', so the hours can be long. - Lack of Mentoring/Training: There's no official mentoring scheme which is unfortunate for those who are more junior in the industry. Depending on your role/team, the 'training' given can be close to non-existent and you're forced to learn on the job. There's also not an awful lot of good training material on the e-learning portal. - Sales-Driven: Sales teams essentially dictate how things should be done, so it can cause a lot of interference in how you carry out your job. - Management: Some managers have no people management/communication skills and are simply incompetent at running teams. - Inflexible Working: There's increasing pressure on people to be in the office which comes from top down. They like to monitor how many days you are in and what times you arrive, but interestingly don't monitor what time you leave, which I think is unfair to those who usually work overtime. - Pay Disparity: There can be huge pay disparity amongst team members and different teams across the company. HR will always try to shortchange you and it's like a fight asking for a pay rise.
