Pros

- Highly entrepreneurial culture focused on moving fast and getting things done. - Relatively flat organization with good exposure to other job functions and senior management. - Willing to challenge you with all the work you can handle which means learning and growth opportunities abound.

Cons

- Lean structure means there are more problems to solve than people and time to solve them. - Must be willing to change direction quickly as priorities evolve rapidly. - Pay lags industry average. - Company is at a tough point in the growth process. Trying to grow systems and rigor of a big company while maintaining the small company feel.

Good place to work

Pros

Great work environment in a growing and interesting industry. There's a good balance between work/life balance. There are a lot of opportunities for growth and several social functions that promote team building and camaraderie throughout the year. The compensation is great with your typical benefits. Overall, it's a great place to work.

Cons

There could be more training opportunities that will allow for career development. Communication between groups is lacking at times.

Smart people, but culture of underpaying and micromanagement

Business Outlook

Pros

-You get to work with a lot of smart people that are passionate about energy.

Cons

-Employees are underpaid compared to competitors. -Full-time in office schedule (also not competitive with other companies) -Culture of micromanagement. Salaried employees are required to enter time cards each week showing how they spent every hour of the day, and where they were working from. -HR ignores harassment complaints, even if proof is provided. This perpetuates the boys club culture. -Leadership is wildly out of touch with what employees want/ need.
