      Tough to Work For, but Good Company Overall

      The work is the "good" kind of challenging. A lot of companies say they empower their personnel to make decisions, but Invenergy walks the talk in this regard. PMs are truly given the authority to make decisions that are best for the project and for the company.

      Cons

      There is a LOT of work, and that work comes with a LOT of challenges. Invenergy finally seems to have understood that very good employees have left the company due to the demanding schedule and relative lack of pay for work performed.

      Pros

      Mostly a good work environment. Benefits are good. Time off is pretty good as well though that could be better.

      Cons

      The pay seems to be low for this field. Certain positions are given more advantages than others. Not all positions are held accountable for actions and bad behavior. Lots of growing pains right now which is to be expected. No straight answers about the future of the company. Also, not all positions received a cost of living raise. Wind techs are given priority over all other positions and it shows in their actions and behavior.
